There are actually loads of troops in the area. Just down the road towards Rockville there is a National Guard unit which is currently deployed in Iraq.
Did you notice the flags in front of the BP gas station on your right as you approached our intersection? Each flag represent an Olney resident's family member in Iraq or Afghanistan. The yellow ribbon attached to the flag has the soldier's name, rank & branch of service on it.
The idea is that when the family member comes home, you get the flag to present to them at their home coming celebration. We did it already for our nephew.
I'll have to get a picture of it for the next Olney AAR.

Note to all. After we had dinner across the street that night, I found false charges on my Visa. I have corrected them and have started the investigation on the charges. I'll keep you posted on where this idiot works. Check your cards if you used them that night in MD.
