I feel bad for VP Cheney,I wish him and his friend well.

Yup. Every year, accidents happen and it makes no difference who or how careful you are. This should be a lesson for all and a reaffirmation that safety comes first when it comes to firearms. I remember taking my firearms safety course years ago. I don't hunt anymore but know folks who do.

The shooter will always carry the stigma of having discharged the firearm, tho the guilt may lie elsewhere or even be shared in.

I look forward to hearing from the Vice President and wish a speedy recovery for Harry Wittington.

The Fox News reporter at the hospital just said that Mr. Whittington was wondering what all of the hoopla about his condition was about.
