Hey Barnes...it's not a defining moment in Cheney's career.The defining moment in Dick Cheney's superb career came on September 11, 2001 when he calmly handled the Washington part of the crisis from the White House situation room.
Assuming Mr. Whittington recovers fully, this accident is merely a footnote in the VP's bio.

I disagree with your assertion that he didn't think of the public relations aspect.
That man knows exactly what he's doing at all times.
