Media On Death Watch For Cheney Victim
Newsmax ^ | Feb. 15, 2006

Harry Whittington, who was shot by Vice President Dick Cheney in a weekend hunting accident, is expected to fully recover.

But that hasn't stopped the national media from commencing a death watch for the 78-year-old Texas lawyer.

Salivating over the prospect that Whittington's demise could mean legal problems for Cheney, reporters could barely contain their anticipation.

The media's official Cheney victim deathwatch kicked off Tuesday evening, with Time magazine blogger Andrew Sullivan openly speculating: "What if Whittington Dies?"

Is there any wonder the Vice-President was not anxious to expose his friend to these vultures?

None to me, whatsoever. I heard on talk radio that the ranch owner, Mrs. Armstrong, was present and so [legally correct, BTW] she was left in control.

I tell you the truth, if Whittington dies 4 years from now, the media will speculate about whether the pellet lodged in his chest had anything to do with it.

They can't help themselves. They are pathetic.

The media would be elated at his death, but it wouldn't change anything. It was an accident. Get over it.

Now that you mention it, no matter how long it is they will probably reflect on this as the cause, whether it's 4 years or 40! But, oh, how short the memories of what the Democrats have done when last in power!

Whittington better watch his back. If I were him, I'd hire round the clock security!

-----Well, of course not. It didn't bother the Clinton Administration that the FBI files were off limits, did it?

This incident may be a blessing in disguise. Any conservative knows where the MSM and presstitutes stand and how they operate, but to a lot of America, it is not so obvious, 'till now. The media scum, an organ of the radical left Rat party, simply cannot contain themselves any longer and their vicious political and personal vindictive pathological hatred shines through for Joe Average to see.

You might say Cheney shot the MSM in the foot.

I agree with you. The MSM is thoroughly discrediting itself, it it hadn't already done so. People who were unaware of the MSM bias and political agenda will not be unaware now. More and more Americans are coming to despise the MSM--something we should all be happy about!
