Scott handled it well when the rabid pressdogs started screeching at him. He remained calm and unflappable, which drove them even more nuts.

Guess who came off looking like the idiot? Not Scott, it was David Gregory and all the vermin of the White House press corps.

I heard Leno make a "joke" the other night that the only problem with the Cheney accident is that it wasn't President Bush he was hunting with.

... and I guess Dan should be glad Cheney wasn't Quayle hunting.

Personally, I think Scott is great. He is always cool under fire.

He's fighting the battle every single day. Thank God for him.

Can I use Cheney's gun to shoot some MSM?

No, it's a 28 gauge. Here, use my 12 gauge.

"(hope the let us know) ??"

I proofread, yet missed the typo. But then I'm not purporting to be a professional journalist working in the "Department of Redundancy Department" of a high-profile corporation...

" Guess who came off looking like the idiot? Not Scott, it was David Gregory "

Speaking of idiots..
Just after New Years, Gregory was subbing on the Today Show .
We normally do not watch the Today Show, but, the tv in the airport waiting area was tuned to NBC.
Gregory's segment was sprucing up your bathroom and it was a hoot watching him reposition towels on the rack and giving tips on organizing the bathroom countertop.
He looked like Martha Stewart in drag and had about as much gravitas as he does in the newsroom .

I heard one news report from AP, I think it was, where they mentioned the name of the woman who owns the ranch where this happened and, AP mentioned that she was the daughter of a Halliburton big wig. What that had to do with this, I have no idea.

Ugh - airport TVs. Usually it's Commie News Network.

I've found the same, and I agree with you.

Its easy to understand if you realise ite the MSM taking another shot at Cheney.

The news media has been trying to say , since the day Cheney took office that he was owned by Haliburton. Now as I undertsand it Cheney like all others placed any stock he may have had in Haliburton in a blind trust, but still the MSM thinks it has a winner by trying to say Cheney caters to Haliburton.

Now we all know that Cheney did work for Haliburton, and it stands to reason he made some friends there , It also stands to reason that one of these friends would invite him to go hunting. Now the MSM is taking another cheap shot at Cheney's haliburton connections.

Did you hear Brit Hume's comment when asked by the MSM about why he got the interview?

He said that the WH wanted the news channel with the largest audience.

His final comment as the segment ended was that he didn't think that they'd report his comment. The FNC panel got quite a laugh out of it.

Cheney should've worn a pink suit for his interview with Brit Hume and used the term 'Vast Left Wing Conspiracy' about 27 times. The MSM would've mistaken him for their adored one and given him a pass.

someone pointed out that we didn't know about Harry Reid's stroke for days.

We weren't 'informed' by the newshound media about Clinton's 12-year affair with Gennifer Flowers for, well...at least 12 years, and they surely would've suppressed that if they could have. (Didn't need to, of course, since the Clinton Mafia and PR machine took care of that.)

When Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton make statements like this, I can't help but wonder how it is that lightning doesn't come right down through the ceiling to strike them. The fact that these statements can be issued without being met by hysterical laughter is a depressing commentary on both the media and the American public. Talk about "the mind boggles"!

"I'd still rather go quail hunting with Cheney than driving with Kennedy."

Not to go tin foil hat on you good people, but considering what happened to "Vince" it should be:

I'd still rather go quail hunting with Cheney than have an affair with Hillary".

Could you imagine a joint Cheney/Willington press conference were the recovering attorney lets out a quip like this! for you Glenn Beck listeners the press corps would need duct tape for their heads!
