Exactly. They are making out as if there were some kind of huge coverup, when in fact there was none. The police were called right away; the press was called as soon as things had settled down a bit. But, they committed the crime of calling the local media first, giving some local guy the big scoop.
For that the "big-time" media guys are livid.

I've been tracking this story; not as closely as I usually do; just sufficiently, so. The liberals are in meltdown.
As "distanced as I have been", they are indeed in meltdown. It's a groovy thing to witness. :) Especially, and because Repubs are now, by my estimate, just coming into their stride, especially at the national level.

Steve King, a WGN Radio in Chicago personality said last night the Cheney was interviewed by Brit Hume of the Faux News Channel.
This guy puts out his b.s. nightly Monday thru Friday.

True enough.
Also, he knew he would get a fair shake from FNC. They are one of the few reliable sources out there these days.
