May our great and mighty God bless you all...
Heavenly Father, Creator of all the the Heavens and the earth, You are the great "I am". We come before you Father on bended knee, as your beloved children. Humbled before You, humbled by You.
We call on your Holy Spirit Lord, at this time of our great loss. For You are the great Comforter.
We don't always understand your ways Lord, but we trust in your promise that all who serve You will know Your infinite, mercy, grace and justice, and will be joined with You in Your glory for all eternity.
We call on the strength of Your Holy Spirit Lord, that we might become better servants in doing Your will on earth. For that is the meaning and purpose of our lives. That we might glorify you in our every waking moment.
We call on the strength of Your Holy Spirit Lord, that we might become better purveyors of Your word to a dark world, for You are the Heavenly Father's truths made flesh.
Command us Lord, for we are Yours. We love you with all our heart, soul, mind and body. Guide us at this time Lord because we are lost without you. For you are the great Counselor. Let us be a reflection of the light and the truths that only You can bring.
We don't fear death Lord, for you are with us always. And we know that all is according to Your divine will. We praise Your Holy name Lord. All is to Your glory.
In Jesus' Holy name, I pray.
I continue to join in prayer for your beloved pastor.
Bump and prayers....
Thank you for the update on your pastor - so glad to hear he's making progress. I ask the Lord for his complete healing, and a rapid recovery. Also for the Lord's deep ministry to his heart and soul over the loss of his wife.
For those of you who are moved by our Lord to help Pastor Easley during this terrible time, Byron Bank has agreed to set up a special account. If you a have a dollar or two you can spare, it would help enormously. Dad and I have given what we can, and offered a cemetery plot for Lily.

Lily's funeral was a beautiful and uplifting ceremony, and she is resting only a few yards away from my mother. All of the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were able to attend, and also spent a great deal of time with Pastor in the hospital. There is a wonderful feeling of peace and healing for everyone touched by Lily's passing.
Thank you all for your prayer support during this critical time. I ask our great and merciful God to keep his arms wrapped around you and all your loved ones...
Continued prayers for your Pastor and his family. I know that he and all of you will miss his dear Lily, but surely he is confident in the knowledge that she is with her Saviour, healed and whole and at peace.
Thank you, dear sister...and yes, Pastor knows exactly where Lily is right now. In fact, I was remarking to Dad the other day that so much has happened since Lily passed away that cannot be explained except if Lily was petitioning our Lord in person for everything she wanted done.
