There's nothing ILLEGAL going on (apparently).

Seems like you're right. But this is still disturbing. It's a tough call- if these folks aren't doing anything illegal, what can really be done about them? This country is full of whacky people living on their property and refusing to mix much with the outside world.

To quote "Bill" (Kill Bill Vol 2); "Therein lies the problem."

This group is exercising their Constitutional rights and the locals are upset. Do I empathize, yes, somewhat. What can be legally done, not a thing.

I'll bet dollars to donuts this group is being closely monitored by every federal LEO imaginable; ICE, FBI, BATFE, DEA, CIA and even and including the NSA. If they found one thing wrong or suspicious they'd be on this place like flies on poop. But none of that has occurred. So everything going on there must be legal.

An aside, given that this is in liberal, 'Blue State' New York, I wonder if the locals have the same animosity against illegal alien invading 'hispanic' criminal gang banging squatters with guns? Or just people from the Middle East?
