Honestly, when I saw this thread, I thought that someone at DU will say it's a body double...I was even going to joke about it here earlier, and sure enough....you found the comment. They will never cease to amaze me! (shaking head and rolling eyes)

Hmmm, and it looks like he's posted over 1000 nuggets of DU wisdom. And it looks like he's 6 hours ahead, so does that put him somewhere in Eastern Europe? I've heard they do quite a bit of body doubling and corpse puppetry in Eastern Europe /sarc.

This is fun, innit? Kinda hoping it continues for awhile. Like Whittington gets up before the camera and says something like "Yeah, it's true, Cheney tried to kill me because I know too m-" and then he grabs his throat, starts making choking sounds, and slides under the table, emerging with a grin and saying "just kidding..."

I read some of those posts too - i think some of those nut cases actually listened to Rush and believed his satire about it taking 3 days to find a double for the lawyer/victim.

Rush was a hoot and I wondered how long it would take for his idea to pop up as fact on DU.

Then I washed my hands and went on with life.
