Brit Hume's interview with VP Dick Cheney attracted more than 2.1 million viewers on Wednesday night, making Special Report the #1 program on cable news.

The 6 p.m. time slot delivered 2,101,000 total viewers, including 513,000 in the 25-54 demographic. Hume beat O'Reilly by a few thousand viewers in P2+...

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!

The angry idiots in the MSM tried to make this nonstory into a huge story, even an impeachable offense, and Brit Hume reaped the benefits! And Cheney got a good audience to see him as he really is.

Does anyone beat him in his time slot?

Best thing that ever happened to Brit Hume, and us:

Bill Clinton got mad at him, threw him out of the WH press club.

Nice.

Hume, like every other Fox program is consistently #1 night after night. I think Larry King sometimes edges out Greta if his guest is of particular interest, but Fox shows, as a rule of thumb will generally have twice as many viewers as CNN. MSNBC, in most time slots, doesn't even register.

O'Reilly. The only thing that usually beats O'Reilly is Hannity & Colmes, but that doesn't happen too often.

Didn`t Brits son get whacked by Clinton, or seem to get killed by the Sociopath in Chief? I always found this to be one of the more bizarre stories of the Clinton holocaust in the `90`s.

With that bunch of hooligans, anything is believable.

I do remember that Brit was pressing Clintoon on some minor point, and being really polite about it.

Clintoon raged for days, and the lap dog lackeys and other running dogs of the MSM beat Brit over the head. If you compare that with what those hyenas do to Bush, its nothing.

I`d have to Google it, but I seem to remember Brits son "committed suicide" after getting on Hillarys case about something. I`m not making this up, do a search on it and you`ll find I`m right. They found him with a gunshot wound to the head like most other Clinton Arkancides. I`m assuming there is absolutely no proof the Clintons were involved, but like I said it is one of the more bizzare stories of the Clinton national Armageddon of the 1990`s. (There wasn`t a Clinton Presidency... Presidency is the wrong word. The correct words to use are "holocaust" or "armageddon")

I suspect that CNN knew this would be the case, thus their whining. It's about the money to CNN, pure and simple. And the White House is wise to appeal to their own base through Fox News.

I guess there's a lot of people who prefer a sizzling program over substance, but I think that Brit Hume's show is simply the best on television.

You never have people screaming over each other-the comments are generally well thought out and lucidly presented, and the host seems to have respect for his subjects as well as his audience.

There's not another show like it on cable.

Yeah, but Clinton's favorite "detective" is in jail. He's sure done a lot of other rotten stuff, and we've all seen the lists of people who've died after crossing one or both of the Clintons. Or had their cats killed, tires slashed, etc.

Why should I do that? Do you honestly believe Brits 27 year old drug free, problem free, mental illness free son who had everything going for him who decided to suddenly commit suicide should never be questioned? Name one reason why his son committed suicide and I`ll ask the mod to remove my post. The fact is Brits son is one in a long line of people who have questioned the Clintons who have ended up dead by gunshot. Maybe rather than question me, you should question why the media bends over backwards to accommodate democrats, why for example a former Vice President who committed blatant treason on foreign soil this past week is getting less press than a Vice President who had an accident. Read the facts about the suicide of Brits son and get back to me.
