Simpson is great -- he really is taking the press to task and is doing so with great humor. Laughing at the press is the best way to approach their story-telling. LOL; all you get is "controversy, crap and confusion" from the media! Simpson is wonderfully refreshing on the show today with Wallace. If you haven't seen it, make sure you catch the rerun.
thank you for the update on the medias coverage this morning of the Summit/tapes.
I have been posting a bit on this on other threads as I can find no permanent 'home' for this type of information as it comes in today.
Thus far this am, both CNN and CNNHeadline News are reporting that according to their translation of the tapes, Saddam is saying:
"Terrorism is coming...I told the American a long time before, I told them that in the future, there will be terrorism with wmds..... This story is coming, but NOT from Iraq. "(summary and emphasis mine)
I have 'concluded' that regardless of what is found to be on the tapes re: wmds, the liberal spin will be, "of course Saddam had wmds, he used them on the Kurds, everyone knows that you idiots, however, there is NO evidence on any of the tapes that Saddam was an imminent threat to America. In fact, Saddam actually warned us that an attack was coming, but not from Iraq."
Is this going to be yet another non-story?
His last statement should be heard around the world.

Hopefully those entitled to vote for or against them realise that.
