Many people think he is doing nothing day after day.

That is what many in the media want people to think

Which is why they keep repeating the lie that the President isn't talking to the american people and explaining what's going on

In the corporate world.........good thought. He could try treating people with the respect that "we the people" expect of the behavior of those privileged to be in the White House.

They probably did not want to pay Fox to show more or maybe Fox would not let them show more.

Maureen Dowd has the flatest emotionless voice I have ever heard. No emotion, nothing.

And apparently Michael Douglas went looking for "substance" in other areas as well.

Your experience with the CSPIN screener confirmed what many of us have long suspected.

For whatever reason, Brian Lamb has chosen sides, and it's AGAINST America.

What I don't get is how Senators can be so ignorant of the facts.

The United States has broad authority to use wiretaps and other surveillance techniques to hunt for suspected terrorists, a federal appeals court panel ruled Monday.

In a 56-page opinion overturning a May decision by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, the three-judge panel said the expanded wiretap guidelines sought by Attorney General John Ashcroft under the new USA Patriot Act law do not violate the Constitution. (More on the USA Patriot Act)

I'm about to watch Meet The Press, but the following link is to David Gregory's sort of, apologetic blog on what he calls "the week that was". I'm thinking he got some serious dressing down for his unprofessional behavior.

Meanwhile Rasmussen polling data shows the President's approval rating RISING.....no matter the lies from the MSM.

Brit Hume recognized Rasmussen the other day - saying that it was one of those came very close to CORRECTLY predicting the last election.

They did not deal with the facts in the "port" story. I think correctly it is a political issue. Good thing, because economics, science or geography is not a required course for FNC's info-babes and editors and writers. Too bad.

Your question is a good one. I don't know how long US Ports operations have been outsourced but it has been a long time. These ports are some of the most corrupt public entities in the world. The Mob, Unions, local party hacks, the whole thing stinks. I'm sure the ONLY reason they are outsouced is it is a better channel for corruption. All the politicians are doing are protecting patronage and political slapping.

'problem is it is not what the Immigration Hawks want.'

I don't think I am a hawk, but maybe I am. I do want illegal immigration stopped, but I don't object to a guest worker program. We had one when I was a little girl - don't know much about it, but they came in to pick cotton, etc.

As I see more and more businesses with signs in Spanish, and saying they speak Spanish, and ballots being in Spanish - that is part of my concern. If they can't speak English, why are they voting?

Bayh does sound "moderate".

It is not important what a Democrat "Sounds" like, all you have to do is remind them "yeah, he SOUNDS good, just like Bill Clinton did in 1992. Got your 1992 tax cut yeat? Gee wonder who Bayh would appoint to be Sec of Defense or AG?

She emulates the inflection of the Newport/Hamptons/finishing school graduate/social register women. However, since it is artificial to her, it sounds even worse than the "authentic" society women.

I wish I could agree with you but I somehow doubt they would have let him get away with a traffic accident without expecting a blow by blow account minutes after.

Even if it had been a traffic accident on private property and that a friend was hurt I think the outcome would have been just the same, the fact it was a shooting party just gave it more legs.
