We are in a full fledged war with people who will kill us over stupid cartoons. They know nothing of civilization and tolerance. I want our leaders to get passed the political garbage and acknowledge that fact.
No he doesn't. There isn't anything stopping him from saying to America that islam has gotten out of control and is no longer in the hands of the peaceful and to be very vigilant because things will be getting nastier.
Calling Islam a religion of peace is as wrong and ridiculous as calling Nazis tolerant, peaceful people.
This is a war, and telling everyone that our sworn enemy is 'peaceful' doesn't do much to help rally others to the cause and win the conflict as quickly as possible. Now that I think about it, it's no surprise that alot of our so called 'allies' aren't interested in helping out when we call the very people we are fighting peaceful. It's time for the president to finally call a spade a spade.

No, actually I think that President Bush is literally & truly a multi-culturalist appeaser, who in his heart believes there is no difference between Muslims & Christians in their excercise of their religious beliefs. President Bush is on record for having stated that in his mind, all roads lead to heaven, including for Christians & Muslims alike.
He does believe it, otherwise he wouldn't say this crap as often as he does. Or else he is just a coward who is afraid to stand up and tell off the politically correct thought police!
