I did not think he ate crow. He was defiant.

Sounds to me like he's trying to play the martyr for 'the real story'.

Yes, he was defiant but I have to think that he looked like an idiot to many people watching his performance. Paul Gigot and Mary Matalin got in some pretty good licks when they questioned the priorities of the White House press corps and the fact that Cheney was more concerned about the well-being of a friend instead of the immediate needs of the press corps.
Maureen Dowd looks like she is five years away from resembling Helen Thomas. She looked bloated in the face, the corners of her mouth down turned and a bitter b*tch to the core. Yikes.
Did anyone notice the smile on Gregory face when Maureen tried to land some blows on Cheney but went way over the top. He is dumb enough to think she was scoring points. He is so tone death. I am sure he will act the idiot again. Probably by tomorrow.

He got slapped down pretty good by Matalin. It was nice watching someone with some gravitas on that program pointing out the BS that the media offers. She slapped him, slapped Mo Dowd twice as hard and then talked about the hypocrisy of the Clinton witch.

The very fact that Monsieur Gregory had to go on TV and explain himself proved that he was in damage control mode.
