Whatever happened to the "Dixie Die Way" running past Ft. Know from Luisville? Would have been at the top of my list, closely followed by the Schuykill ["surekill] Expressway in Philly.

I think you mean the WK Parkway? yeah, it used to be ultra-suck, but it's gotten way better in the past four years. And it was never as bad as I-55 in southeast Missouri.

Last summer when I drove to Ohio twice from Oklahoma, I refused to drive I-44 in MO after the first time so I went through Cincy to Louisville picking up I-40 in Nashville. I had good roads all the way so it looks like Kentucky fixed that problem.

I always loved the Ky toll roads. You will be driving along and all of a sudden there's a toll booth. No entrance, no exit, just a toll booth with a lonely collector.
