Kalifornicate should be in 1st place for the WORST roads, not 5th place...
It criminal what they call "roads" here....

Ever drive CA-12, between the I-80 and the I-5? You're lucky if you "only" hit 10 potholes or less in that death-trap. Unfortunately, it's the only viable way for me to go to work, so I get to "enjoy" that road twice a day.
Yep - quite a turnaround....I recall as a kid in the fifties that California's highway system was the envy of all the other western states.
Then somehow, we need to find a way to change this state around from its' obvious self destructive path.
The city of Los Angeles, only repairs roads on average of over 100 year time span.
