I cannot believe that Michigan is not in the bottom five.

Coming back from out of state, you can always tell when you hit the Michigan line... "thump, thump, BUMP, thump, thump"

We live in Kansas, but when my husband was taking me back home to Pennsylvania to meet his family a similar thing happened to me. I had been reading a book most of the trip out and had just started the last chapter when we hit the PA line. The roads were so bad, I just put the book up until another time. I guessed #1 and #2 before I even saw the article. I was raised in Missouri and know how bad those roads are.
