Muslims ask the West to agree that mocking a religion is unacceptable

I'm in complete agreement.

But since mohammedanism is a blood thirsty cult filled with murderous fanatics, it's not applicable. I shall ridicule and mock mohammedans with impunity. If they don't like it, thats just too bad.

As an avid and active supporter of the Second Amendment, I'm more than ready to defend my First Amendment rights when the need arises.

I'm not. A religion is in a sad state if its member's can't take a joke. But I think what makes them most mad is that this joke points out a nasty truth about much of Islam.
