I believe Bush is positing a question which the left will dare not answer, though the answer is as clear as 3,000 dead Americans. For the left, or anyone for that matter to answer in the way which is obvious to any casual observer, is to admit to being bigoted toward Muslims or Muslim countries. Bush has never admitted to us or himself that this religion cannot moderate. He is betting that those who have prejudged the Emirets and have admitted openly that it cannot happen and have thus declared themselves bigoted towards Arab muslims. It has Rove written all over it.

As for me, I believe heathy skepticism and prejudice will protect this country better than blind magnanaminity.

Think about it, though. When Hillary and Schummer and the others on the left say this will not stand, it is the same as screaming, "I am prejudice against Arab muslims." And 'prejudice" is almost the 'p' word, as bad as the 'n' word, in the minds of leftist.
