This time next year we'll be hearing they're totally broke. Why do Freepers assume this about everyone who wins the lottery? Some people who play are responsible people. Not every lottery player is a dolt.

Why do Freepers assume this about everyone who wins the lottery? Some people who play are responsible people. Not every lottery player is a dolt. It's the MSM bias. If you have 10 lottery winners and 9 of them live happily and comfortable while one goes broke spending his money on whores, drugs, booze and Enron stock which one will show up on the TV the next year?
