Yeah, and they were only one of three nations to recognize the Taliban...

In 1996? Before the Gulf war. Non issue.

Yeah...but she wouldn't mind having Osama come build some roads in Washington though, would she??

Probably not. We could use some new roads, but I'd prefer they not have explosive devices planted in the asphalt.

Those are "around the world" bags, aren't they?

Too bad she's not 'around the (other side of) the world'. I've had my fill of damn Clintons (or anyone associated with them), period!

So let me see if I have this right: there are no panelists, so this is just them getting on the record?

Great!

Did Senator KKK say the 1892 bill? I know he's been there a long time, but gracious!

Hillary: We've heard from numerous administration spokespeople that those of us raising concerns are out of place. For many of us, there is a significant difference between a private company running ports and a foreign entity running the ports.

If we are impacting national security, the full 45 days of investigation is mandatory if it affects natinoal security.

Yet, a decision was made not to conduct that 45 days of investigations.

Sec. Chertoff has claimed we have a disciplined process. On the face of it, they don't.

There are numerous problems with this review process that we need answers to but in the larger context, port security, particularly given the problems we've had with Homeland Security, apparently the WH is about to issue their report about Katrina, which based on the press reports will make you cry. It's 4.5 years after 9/11 and we've been saying that tehre are problems and it's troubling.

I haven't changed my mind at all. I've seen nothing but empty "trust us" promises in support of this.
