Since this thread has morphed into a discussion of Mexican food, I wonder if anyone here has encountered the practice of drinking Coca Cola out of a baggie, the flimsy kind, like you might stuff a sandwich into? It seems quite common in Guadalajara, but I've never seen it anywhere else. You clamp one part of the baggie between you forefinger and second finger, and then hook your thumb under the folded-over lip. The soda is poured into the pouch, and you drink it through a thin straw. It works really well, although it does sound difficult.
