I heard this story on the radio...how could the coach not have known how good he was...did he never play during practice? I want to know the answer to that.

how could the coach not have known how good he was...did he never play during practice?I was wondering that, too, especially after seeing video of it. Some kids are just bench warmers all year, I guess. Too bad, too, for the whole team.

He was the team manager and was just given a jersey for the last game of the season so he could sit on the bench with the other team members.
