First off, there is no proof the IRA had any part in this. It appears it was two groups of hooligans from the north who couldn't wait for July to resume their feud.

Secondly, it sounds like both sides could have done this in Belfast or Londonderry and saved a lot of time and money.

Sometimes people get tired on being sh!t on. It happens from time to time throughout the world. Signers of the Declaration of Independence thought so here.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com i'll prolly get a rap in the mouth for this, but...

this whole Marching Season stuff seems a bit Nay NayNay NayNay Nay in your face nonsense anyway.

it's kinda like if Yankee's INSISTED that they march through Atlanta every year!!!

they'd get the same welcome... and rightly so.

Jonathan Swift died on 19 October 1745, aged 78. He hadn't been in a good frame of mind for some time. He managed to keep some of his sense of humor, though--his last will and testament provided funds to establish somewhere around Dublin a hospital for "ideots & lunaticks" because "No Nation wanted [needed] it so much."

But before that, he had quite the interesting perspective on the "big-endians" versus the "small-endians."
