The "bait" used to lure French Jew Ilan Halimi to the Paris suburb where he was abducted was a 16-year-old girl of Iranian descent captured by police over the weekend, Israel's leading newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported Sunday.
Police officials characterized her as a "pretty girl…who attempted to seduce several Jewish youngsters before she met Halimi." The girl was detained at a Paris suburb.
On Thursday, police in the Ivory Coast nabbed the main suspect in the brutal murder, Youssouf Fofana, who fled France after serving as the gang leader and presiding over the abduction, torture, and murder of the Jewish man.
Fofana has expressed no regret during his interrogation and threatened investigators he will make sure to have them killed. Meanwhile, most members of the gang involved in the abduction and murder have already incriminated each other. At least 15 of them will be brought to justice.
Police say those detained constituted the "first ring" of gang members responsible for abducting Halimi. Investigators are currently attempting to identify the "second ring", gang members who are residents of the suburb Halimi was brought to and who are suspected of being aware of the affair but not reporting the information to police.
Meanwhile, tens of thousands of people are expected to take part in a march in memory of Halimi in Paris. The marchers will also pass by the cell phone store where Halimi worked and first met the Iranian bait. Leading coalition and opposition members are also set to take part in the march.
Does that mean they'll face a firing squad before the end of the month? If not, it's just blather.
Because I never watch it anymore I am wondering: Is the MSM covering this? I suspect they aren't. Just imagine if the murdered man was an Arab, and his torturers were Jews.

I suggest Sharia law for this girl Bury her to her armpits and stone the rest. Its not a bad idea for the guys either.
Nothing like a taste of their own medicine and they understand their own laws.
But its France. Probation and a harsh tongue lashing will have to do.
During the ransom phone calls, his uncle reported that they were made to listen to Ilan's screams as he was being burned while his torturers read out verses from the Quran.
This time around, the French media did carry the story, yet every public official insisted there was no anti-Jewish element. Just one of those things. Coulda happened to anyone. And, if the gang did seem inordinately fixated on, ah, Jews, it was just because, as one police detective put it, ''Jews equal money.'' In London, the Observer couldn't even bring itself to pursue that particular angle. Its report of the murder managed to avoid any mention of the unfortunate Halimi's, um, Jewishness. Another British paper, the Independent, did dwell on the particular, er, identity groups involved in the incident but only in the context of a protest march by Parisian Jews marred by ''radical young Jewish men'' who'd attacked an ''Arab-run grocery.''
More specifically, it has been reported on CNN (the bellweather of MSM), though not in any great detail.

Interesting bit of bluster there. Are the stupid French finally waking up to the fact that it is not only Jews these Islamofacists seek to kill?
Sure would be a pity if this lump of excrement were to fall down the stairs a few times while in custody. French or not, the LEO's must feel a mighty temptation and accidents do happen.

That's what I figured. In other words, the perpetrators *won't* be brought to justice, in spite of the fact that they're unquestionably guilty. Consequently, it won't be long until the next attack of this kind.
Another example of why Muslims should not be surprized when the West does ot embrace them wholeheartedly.
Moral of this story to French boys: never go to her place, no matter how inviting....
Under Sharia law the guys would not be punished at all. It is perfectly OK for a Muslim to kill an infidel who does not pay the tax to the Muslim state.
The girl I am not sure about she might be stoned for not being escorted by a male relative while in public.
