Prostitution IS NOT a "victimless" crime.

"With the passage of H.R. 972 and the hard work and dedication of the people working on the frontlines to end modern-day slavery, the hope is alive and well that trafficking and prostitution will be eradicated in the United States and worldwide."

LOL! Just like drugs.

Lot's of these women actually like prostitution. To them its like going out on a date with someone you don't really like. Sex is just sex and they are getting paid for it. The money is too easy and the morals of some of todays younger generation of women have been lowered considerably.

You are making an absolute statement without much to back it up.

Yeah, I always get a kick out of watching politicians try to repeal the Free Market, too.

Most people who pay for commercial sex acts are men.Captain Obvious strikes again.

This is just one of the thousands of reasons my handle is nothingnew.

I abhor the sex/slave market, but let's face it....Some women like the trade. They make a lot of money. They want a "union" fer cryin'out loud.

Like I say, repeating a wise man, "there is nothing new under the sun".......

"Some women like the trade. They make a lot of money."

Money ain't everything and I believe if a woman likes it, its because they are ill.

He's not "buying a person". He's buying her quick conversationless exit after sex. =^)

So someone with an opinion different from yours does not deserve to earn a living as she wishes?

Forcing anyone to have sex against their will is despicable and should be aggressively prosecuted. An adult consenting to have sex in exchange for a diamond ring, a gourmet dinner, a trip to Paris, or a hundred dollar bill in no way violates anyone else's rights and should not be the concern of the government.

One can imagine that the authorities would have a great deal more resources to devote to sexual slavery and rape if they didn't have to worry about going after consenting adults agreeing to have sex in private.

Prostitution brings a criminal element into a neighborhood.

Besides being degrading and unhealthy for women.

I'm not saying they like the nasty...they like the money. I do have to agree with you tho.

Another famous quote:

"The love of money is the root of all evil".

Have a nice day.

Its sad indeed that women today think the only way they can support themselves is by selling sex.

There have never been so many alternatives for women greater today than ever before.

Self respect and dignity go a long way in how a woman is raised to believe about herself today.

Aw hell, welfare brought the criminal element into my neighborhood.
I,for one, dont see a problem with a woman selling herself. as long as they are licensed
In PA, they are debating Gambling and slot machines. They could make more money taxing and issuing permits to hookers.
If the Goverment wants to make money from sin, who are they to decide what sin they can make money from?
