When I was a kid, we used to raise white leghorn chickens. We didn't like to keep them cooped up in the chicken house all the time, so we clipped the feathers real short on their right wing so's they could only fly in circles and not get lost in the adjacent woods.

Now the Wilsonegger gang as Amerigomag rightly calls 'em, are clipping the Governor's right wing by "beating back" any legitimate objections and trying to marginalize any and all Conservatism. Arnold is even working a pair of shears himself, trying to re-create the Repellican Party in his own image and swearing we can't put him in the platform box!

Well, it won't just be conservatives! I don't know of a single Republican that believes in the cr@p they are selling. How can they ignore 100% of the Republican platform and expect to get any support? And who are these "leaders" put in charge to implement the party platform?

It sounds to me like the party has been wholly infiltrated and hijacked by impostors, many of the ex-democrat-turned-Republican variety.

I didn't vote for him in the Recall and tried to tell everyone what a socialist jerk he was but people either were star struck or voted out of fear and he proved to be everything I said he was and even worse.

I'll either vote 3rd party or withold my vote for Governor.

Here is your reality check.

A ton of those voting in California are employed by the government, with union connections and lean Democrat.

We are probably -7% to the Democrats in power of the vote and have to at this time go left to get the vote.

It's better that we do that then get the Communist liberal democrat in power IMO.

We need to move that -7% to a + anything for us.
Until that point, unless an appealing superstar conservative politician comes along, you won't get any of the -7% voting our way. That is the problem.

We are operating out of occupied territory and you are posting like there is the delusion we have some kind of conservative majority in this state.
Wish we did have that SW, but we have a rougher road.

I think we need to keep Democrats out as mission #1.
I think the answer to what is irritating you won't be answered by sabotaging the Republicans, it would be better served by grooming the future voter to vote conservative values more and that requires more grass roots activism.
