Christians are politically active, I'm aware of that. But the idea of a Christian theocracy is a moonbat idea. It's not something that Christians want to establish.
But Islam is different. The whole concept of Sharia Law is something that has no real counterpart in Christianity.
To the extent that Muslim populations can influence politics, they will do so in such a way so as to oppress non-Muslims. Truly something that our Founding Fathers did not anticipate.
If Christianity wanted to establish a theocracy, they would have done it well over a thousand years ago. Christianity had absolute control over Europe for centuries and even though the treatment of the Jews was deplorable, at no time did Christianity attempt anything on the level of the theocracy that Islam is trying to impose.
What many fail to understand is that Islam is not just a religion, it is a ideology, a "way of life" that encompasses all. It is the antithesis of freedom and democracy.
The word "Islam" means submission - In many ways it is hard for the West to accept the harsh reality that Muslim countries simply don't want freedom or democracy.
