Wow, I can't believe the AFP via Yahoo scooped the NY Times on this crucial news! They'll have to follow up with a front page story about it tomorrow, no doubt.

Did Bush call the Washington Post and tell them about the accident?
And did he call them before or after he picked himself off the ground?
And would this have been more serious if the policeman had died?

I have a source close to the Administration who tells me Laura Bush killed a lady bug in 2002. The whole incident was quickly hushed up by the Rove Gestapo.

I'd rather go riding with Bush than hunting with Cheney...no wait! I mean, riding with Kennedy!

LOL
If I recall correctly the Prez was mountain biking at Crawford some time back.
Went ass over belly button, got dinged up pretty good.
Maybe he should take up golfing or maybe curling.

His new brother Bill advised him that you can get all the exercise you want in the white house.

Bush later telephoned the hurt policeman -- who damaged his ankle ligaments -- to ask how he was and to apologise. A lot more than we can say for Hillary after that cop got injured trying to stop her motorcade at a mandatory security checkpoint.

Imagine the charges when the policeman dies in 40 or 50 years.Plus I hear that the President had been drinking 30 or so years earlier.[sarc]

I had forgot all about Pretzel gate.

Typical of the left, living in the past, and everything is a scandal that deserves close scrutinization from Congress, conducted from and chaired by Rep. Conyers' (3WATT-MI) and his gargantuan gavel, televised by DNC-SPIN from his basement.

I feel sorry for that officer. The administration should do something special for him, like having
Cheney invite him on a hunt.
