Look, this article begins with a lie; why do you take it at face value?
The DPW is NOT "taking over 6 ports"; however, THEY DO BUSINESS WITH ISRAEL NOW AND HAVE DONE SO FOR A WHILE.

The timing of this article is suspect. These port deals and P&O buyout were announced last November by both P&O and DPW. But, more to the point though, the article bubbles to the surface right at the time Congress is asking for and getting a 45-day review of DPW.
But, you're right nopardons, DPW has been doing business with and has had a presence in Israel for some time now.

THEY DO BUSINESS WITH ISRAEL NOW AND HAVE DONE SO FOR A WHILE. I did a search a bit back about relations between Dubai and Israel (didn't have time to be even remotely thorough), and the impression I got is that Dubai is on pretty good terms with Israel but doesn't want it to be public. Seeing that UAE is almost as small as Israel in comparison with the rest of the Arab world, I'm not inclined to blame them. Reminded me a bit of the fine line Musharraf has to tread.
