I would agree with his argument - IF the attackers were a national entity at war at us or had previously issued an ultimatum as a prelude to war. Under those circumstances, the WTC was as much a legal target as any German or Japanese city in WWII.

However, our attacker was not a national entity and they launched an unprovoked (from our view anyway...) attack on us. Basically, our enemies are in the same class with pirates and bandits - enemies of all mankind.

Calls Israeli's terrorists who got a state after committing terrorist land. We allowed them to have land because we wanted a strategic ally to get foot in Middle East. Helps us control part of issue.

I'm a social studies teacher, or will be in a bit. GO AHEAD and record me kids. I teach the curriculum, not a bunch of my personal ideas and biases. This guy is a dolt who is abusing his authority, and he should be shown the door.

My sixth grade geography teacher had a simple test. If you couldn't locate Maine on a map of the U.S. you failed.

Wow, tough teacher... so strict. I wonder how many students had their self esteem ruined for years by this tyrant of a teacher... LOL ;) :)

Claims capitalism is against human rights and only cares about profits and does nothing to help people, only exploits them.

When kid asks of U.S. wants to kill innocent people, teach goes on a rant about activities that suggests various activities were intended to kill innocent people. Such as supporting Iran and Iraq during their civil war. Rants about intentional harm attempted against Cuba, harming crops, other activites.

He had a point when he claimed that the Pentagon was a legitimate military target and I've said as much, myself. But I think the thing missing from all of these equivalency arguments is that while it was awful that so many civilians have died from American actions, the world would have been a much more horrible place for all civilians if they were ruled by Tojos, Hitlers, Stalins, Castros, Saddams, and bin Ladens than they would be having their activities overseen by the United States. Whether we win or they win matters a great deal.

Tone of voice is total rant. Like hearing a political diatribe by a madman.

When people attacked World Trade Center, they were not trying to kill innocent people. It's a legitimate military target. FBI in World Trade Center. Huge international companies that support wrong side in Middle East. They have blood on their hands.

Four, possibly five. Most likely the most extreme, too, or they would not be "newsworthy".

Every teacher must now expect a tape recorder in his class.

Yes. Accountability is always a good thing.

Cites Indians are justified in attacking Americans who they claim are the real terrorists since 1492, Europeans, committed killing, rape, pillage, destruction.

Bin Laden says they have right to attack Israel, who are seen as terrorists. Says Clinton attacked innocent people in Sudan. In their eyes, the attack on World Trade Center is in return for Clinton's attacks.

Palestinian attacks against Israel justified. Bible says God gave land to Hebrews. Says Canaanites are the ancient "descendants" of Palestinians. (Not ancestors.) Attacks Jewish claims in Bible.

His argument about tobacco is not actually about tobacco ~ we've seen it here before ~ that's the one the cokeheads use to justify cocaine.

You'd better believe LE folks are taking a hard look at this guy. His public trials and travails are only beginning.

Sadly I had to tutor some of my classmates.

Wow, that is sad.

I'm didn't even grow up within a 1000 miles Maine and I know where Biddeford, Saco, Portland, Brunswick, Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Dover Foxcroft, Augusta, Bangor, Presque Isle, Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, etc. are located.
