I'm a social studies teacher, or will be in a bit. GO AHEAD and record me kids. I teach the curriculum, not a bunch of my personal ideas and biases. This guy is a dolt who is abusing his authority, and he should be shown the door.
When kid asks of U.S. wants to kill innocent people, teach goes on a rant about activities that suggests various activities were intended to kill innocent people. Such as supporting Iran and Iraq during their civil war. Rants about intentional harm attempted against Cuba, harming crops, other activites.
Yes. Accountability is always a good thing.
What is scary is how stupid, crazy and totally American hating this guy is. He is a bully. I want to see him defend this nonsense. How could he ever have been hired. The student who recorded this should get an award. The teacher must have been ranting all year.
And this is a bad thing? Accountability never hurt anyone.
