Tehran, Iran, Mar. 02 Irans radical President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared on Thursday in Malaysia that Islam will be the dominant power in the near future, the official state news agency reported.
The near future will be in the hands of Islam, Ahmadinejad said after a meeting in Kuala Lumpur with the King of Malaysia. He cited the victory of the Islamist group Hamas in the recent Palestinian elections as a sign of the rise of Islamism in the world.
History has shown that when Muslims become powerful, they do not use their power to the detriment of others, but use it in the service of peace and tranquillity, Ahmadinejad said.
The Iranian presidents vision of a world dominated by Islam in the near future is bound to exacerbate concern in the West and among moderate Muslims, who are alarmed by his strong views on the imminent return of the Shiite messiah, the Mahdi.
Ahmadinejad is on record as saying that he sees his main mission as being that of preparing the stage for the return of the Mahdi, said Ali Basrawi, an Iraqi Shiite political analyst living in London. He belongs to a school of thought that believes the Mahdi would return only when the world is in deep crisis. That political philosophy, particularly if devoutly believed in, could lead to very erratic and unpredictable decisions by the president of a country on the verge of acquiring nuclear weapons.
Ahmadinejad told the Malaysian monarch that Muslims around the world bear a very heavy responsibility to introduce Islam to others.
He accused nuclear powers of bullying and threatening smaller nations.

Its possible Islam just might dominate the world in the near future. Look for a charismatic leader among them brokering a peace treaty that lasts for about 3 and a half years. Then things get bad for another 3 and a half years. And then they are no longer in power.

LOL, I get it...Islam will dominate and the Pres. of Iran gives as an example the election win of Hamas in the Palestinean "nation-state", the most powerless, dependent upon their enemy, ghoulish bunch of misfits on the Earth.
Yep, a domination of the world is certainly next.

The way we are all kissing up to the Muslims, I am beginning to believe him. Speak for yourself. The rest of us aren't kissing up to Muslims.
Besides, the only geographical locations on earth Muslims dominate are trash-holes of oppressed backward societies.
Not exactly models of the future.

Our "kissing up" to the Muslims reminds me how confident strong guys give jerks some room to mouth off, so that when they finally kick their a$$ they don't look like bullies.

The Iranian president is absolutely nuts. But he's not a unique nut: these people fully intend to dominate the world if we let them.

You know what really strikes me about the Koran when you read through it, is how utterly inane it is. It's often utterly disconnected. It's so ridiculously obvious that Mohammed used parts of the Bible and then rewrote them "his way," which in numerous cases is completely opposite of the original Biblical text. Chapter 19 attempts to make an utter mockery of Christianity and Christ.
Honestly, my first thought when I read that crap is that the guy was either on some serious drugs or insane to one extent or another.

"Ahmadinejad is on record as saying that he sees his main mission as being that of preparing the stage for the return of the Mahdi."
And this is backed up by other observers with clear profiles of his mystic Shia cult connections. He in many ways is not quite as deceiving as first appears. I qualify. We understand they are allowed to lie that is in their cultic book and backup Hadiths.
He really thinks the Caliph will return as a world cataclysim happens and allah takes final charge. He surely has more and more Mullahs and others very worried they are being set up for an invasion they cannot hope to come out on top from. Their black limos will be mashed. Their lovely homes burnt. I would not be surprised if someone does not take him out one of these days. Unlike the grand ayatollah Seyyed Ruhollah Khomeini, who started the Iranian revolution in order to over throw the Sha of Iran, and restore a Islamic theocracy, this crazy bastard could care less about Iran, he is waiting for the world to go boom, and allah to return. Iran for him is simply a state to be used in his hoped for fantasy.

I'm praying that somehow, somewhere in Iran there is a patriotic Iranian who loves his country and believes in its future so much that he's willing to sacrifice his life to put a bullet into this madman's brain before it's too late.

I wish it were true.
There are pieces of Europe that are already Muslim and they are getting larger every year. Look at the suburbs of Paris. They have burned 1,000s of cars and are now torturing Jews to death.
Our media is afraid of them. It will not publish the Mohammad cartoons, but has no problems with the "Piss Christ".
There are towns in Italy where the schools are shrinking, because there are fewer children. I hate to say it, but according to the demographics, time is on their side.
As Sun-tzu says in The Art of War, do not underestimate your enemies. Im not saying that we will lose, just that we are not guaranteed to win.

To: freedom44
WHen is the world going to sit up and recognize Islam for what it is? This is the ultimate goal of the religion as a whole - regardless of the "finatical" state of the believer. The ultimate goal is to Islamisize (is that a word?) the world. yes, Christianity has the same goal - but not by the edge of the sword.

Mohammed was a freaky genius even as a child. From what I read, he traveled with his merchant father and talked philosophically to everyone he met. He created Islam by compiling all the info he had drawn from the Jews, Christians and his local pagan religions (the Moon and Sun worshipers). There were even some incidences recorded about his life which would definitely leave you to believe he was possessed.
