Yep, but the problem w/ these demos is they are simply not serious about their faith. They only want to use it as a means for polical power. And to gain votes. End of story.

There they go again, putting lipstick on a pig. It doesn't fool me. Problem: I'm afraid it will fool a lot of empty heads.

1 step back, 2 forward. They call that progressism, I call that the progressive chokehold.

This is not friendship to religion, it's a state curriculum program, it's a master slave relationship between gov. & religion.

Those for "separation of church & state" ironicaly see nothing wrong in licensing & controling "proper government religious material" to the public schools.

Liberals have changed indeed. there was a time when they said no argument should be settled by force of arms or government... now they do it all the time.

For Republicans who view Democrats as godless, the party's sudden, public embrace of faith is crassly political. Republican state Sen. Eric Johnson of Georgia excoriated Kasim Reed's Bible course proposal as "election-year pandering using voters' deepest beliefs as a tool." But Darrell Thompson, senior advisor to Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, told WORLD that Democrats have always embraced religious faith, just not so publicly, and "we're right to talk about it now."

Interesting. Right to talk about it now. That begs the question: Why was it wrong to talk about it before?

Believers know that this is wide of rhe mark and is fake as can be.

This is a ch__ch. What's missing?

Pro-abortionists don't believe in birth, much less born-againers?

Jesus said GIVE to the poor, which I do.

He did not advocate the government TAKING one's money.

Beware of socialists trying to twist His words.

"Those who are more concerned with 'social justice' issues, such as justice for the poor and the limits of capitalism, find more of a home in the Democratic Party."

What does this have to do with religion, exactly?!

"Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."

...... Darrell Thompson, senior advisor to Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, told WORLD that Democrats have always embraced religious faith, just not so publicly, and "we're right to talk about it now." ....... .....That begs the question: Why was it wrong to talk about it before? Believers know that this is wide of the mark and is fake as can be.

Now they cozy up to religion? Now? After years of dumping moral relative laws on the USA? Now? After years of obliterating the line between right and wrong? Now? After tens of millions of babies have neen slaughtered in utero? Now? After hundreds of millions of youngsters have been brainwashed by federally-mandated and tax-paid Christian-hating Planned Parenthood, NJEA school programs?

Now let the word go out loud and clear. Politicans will not get the votes of Christians unless they actively and vociferously oppose Christian-hating, anywhere and everywhere Christian-hating surfaces.

Christians demand candidates and incumbents immediately take a stand against Planned Parenthood, the NEA, the notorious ACLU----and any other group---which terrorizes Christians, and employs tyranny against Christians, whether through the schools, the legal system, the political system, the airwaves, or elsewhere. Wherever Christian-hating surfaces.

Any candidate (or incumbent) who voted in favor of or is holding anti-prayer, anti-life, pro-gay, and pro-sex-ed positions evidences a hatred toward Christians. These candidates should be advised that they cannot be seriously considered for public office at any level of our government.

96% of Americans celebrate Christmas.

Christians have the numbers, the power, and the motivation with which to defeat any candidate who aligns him/herself with the forces of Christian-hating.

Politicians will soon get the message that Christians mean business.

What is a Christian doing running for a party whose major plank is killing babies? The "Christian" who does that cannot be trusted.

In a Beliefnet.com response to the president's speech he alluded to the Good Samaritan and the book of Matthew, chapter 25: "I and many of my colleagues came to public service . . . to serve our neighbors, and to help the least among us."

I just love it when these Dims misquote or misinterpret the Bible. Matthew 25 has a couple parables. One is about being a good steward of another's money and getting rewarded. The other (the "cited" one) is about how INDIVIDUALS treat each other, not the gubmint. He comes across as being the Lord when he talks about the "least" among us, instead of a servant of the Lord. Typical Dim hubris and lack of knowledge.

"....current Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean, who once said his favorite New Testament book is Job...."

LOL wonder what kind of Bible, Howie is using.

It shall be interesting to watch these liberals transform themselves to appear religious, Hillry had already marked the illegal invasion one of a religious matter, wonder whose religion she is courting. Wolves in sheep clothing.

Liberals are masters of deception and seduction.
