This is rather an extraordinary story that I think merits breaking news.

A lot of puns and bad jokes possibe, I know, possible, but, if this is true ...

Texas could rule the roost on this energy source as well.

It's a great thread, the practical ideas and jokes together.

Yes, this would indeed be the holy grail if it turns out to be practical.

In one fell swoop, we could...
tell the entire rest of the world to take their oil and shove it,
we wouldn't have to drill in Alaska, which would make the greenies happy,
the Arabs would have to go back to screwing camels and living in tents,
terrorism would decline drastically without the infusion of oil money to finance it,
Beef prices would drop because of the huge increase in cattle raised for their end products,
the Japanese economy would skyrocket (since I live here, that's important to me)...

did I leave anything out?

That means we don't have to get gas from the Shiites any more; we can get from ordinary shiite!

As the late great Roger Miller sang...
Dung me, dung me
They oughta take a rope and hang me
High from the highest tree
Woman would you weep for me
Boo-woo boop boop boop boop boo -ba-oo-ba boo boo bow
Ba-boo-ba bam...

Wasn't some pig farmer in Britain doing the same thing years ago?
