Does anyone else besides me remember some of the first reports out that hurricane Katrina missed most of N.O. and the people were revelling and carrying on on Bourbon St? Some bars never closed.

We all do.

The radio words that I remember (on Monday I think) was "New Orleans dodged a bullet".

Or, how about the woman interviewed on the Fox News Channel, who said she didn't want to evacuate because she'd rather die in New Orleans, than live in Houston with the other evacuees.

Perhaps she got her wish.........
