Dick Morris: Clinton on Dubai Payroll

Former President Bill Clinton is up to his eyeballs in dealings with Dubai, his former top political adviser has revealed. According to Dick Morris, author of the best-selling book, "Condi vs, Hillary," Clinton is a paid agent of the crown prince of Dubai, now involved in a firestorm over its deal to take over some of the operations at six major U.S. ports. "Bill Clinton is a senior adviser - a paid adviser - to a company called Ukepa which recently set up a relationship with a group called the Yucaipa Investment group to set up a new company called DIGL," Morris said on "The O'Reilly Factor." "DIGL Inc. is in charge of managing the investments of the crown prince of Dubai throughout the world. Bill Clinton is paid by Yucaipa a percentage of the profits it makes, and Yucaipa said its profits have exceeded 40 percent in recent years. "He is a paid agent of the crown prince of Dubai.

"...The Yucaipa Companies owns Jurgensen's, Falley's, and Alpha Beta, among other chains. The company's chairman, billionaire Ron Burkle, is a prominent Democratic activist and fundraiser; former president Bill Clinton and the Rev. Jesse Jackson serve on the company's board.

Doesn't one have to register with the feds when operating as an agent of a foreign government? I wonder if Clinton has done that.

Cunningham, a (former) Republican, takes payoffs and goes to jail (rightfully so), Klintoon, a Democrat, is taking money and nothing happens. That guy is more slippery than Gotti (before the teflon finally wore off that is)

I don't want ex-Presidents working for foreign countries. It's tacky - for starters.

"Clinton is a paid agent of the crown prince of Dubai,.."

If true, is he now a registered Agent/Lobbyist of a Foreign Government?

Shouldn't we discontinue his Federal Pensions and Secret Service Protection in this case....

The despicable behavior of Carter, Algore and Clinton have made it necessary for us to consider some MINIMAL standards of behavior in order to continue receiving the benefits from taxpayers......

It's infuriating to realize these sonsuvbitches are STILL sucking at the public tit while they insult and endanger us -- while pursuing personal objective and wealth...

Cut them loose, and hope the "personal exposure" to consequences causes them to be more circumspect... It appears that's the only thing that will shut them up....

The story is real; the source is BS.

One of the Newsmax writers (who is also a FReeper and shall remain unnamed) was exposed publishing outright lies and made-up stories on that web site by several FReepers here. He made the mistake of posting nonsense from that site on this forum.

In fact, there is a vanity thread titled "Can we trust WorldNut Daily and Newsmax as sources?" If I remember correctly, the FReeper consensus was quite negative.

I saw Morris say this on O'Reilly last night. It's an accurate account of what he said.

What the UAE is buying is 6 terminals of the approximately three hundred in the six ports. These are loading and off loading spots. They have nothing to do with security of the port.

Incidentally, you will all be shocked to discover that the company trying to buy these terminals also services our warships in the ME. In the meantime, China still has a large terminal in the LA harbor and most of the privately owned terminals (not government owned) are owned by foreigners.

Never has so much drivel been repeated over and over again by the MSM and the ignoramuses we call politicians. One despairs as to the very basis of democracy--an informed electorate.

I don't want ex-Presidents working for foreign countries. It's tacky - for starters.

I watched a History Channel documentary about ancient Rome this week, wherein they covered the fact that the Romans were appalled that sitting emperor Nero would perform at the theater - an unprecedented act of ignobility.

I was immediately reminded of Clinton playing saxophone on the Jay Leno show.
