As much as I loved OCTOBER SKY and Gyllenhaal in it , I'm nor sure I can ever watch it in the same light again .

I was, quite happily, ignorant of that connection until now. October Sky is one of my favorite movies.

I'll try to forget that I read this.

Gyllenhaal is a boring actor. He has a limited..very limited--range of expressions and is a one dimensional character.

I was trying to remember all the movies that I've seen in the theaters over the last few years, but I really can't remember seeing many... There have been 2 Harry Potter movies: Prisoner of Askaban and Goblet of Fire. And of course the three Lord of the Rings movies... And the final Star Wars movie... I guess I don't get out much.

I wanted to see Serenity, but didn't until I had bought Firefly and watched all the episodes. And I meant to see Narnia, but just haven't found the time. I'm just going to wait for the DVD release.

But that was about it.
