Hey, did anyone say a word about the troops at the Oscars? We all know thanking God wasn't foremost on the winners minds... though I was touched by Phillip Hoffman thanking his mother, who raised four of them by herself and obviously was really close to them (which was cut out of every clip... the single mother part... that I have heard since), but lawyers were thanked as well as financiers and accountants. Behold their God.
Please get Jon Stewart on your show ... I think you'll find him a great guest.

....and I, just to complete the cycle, pretended to watch or even care about what happened at the Oscars. (The grandkids and I had our weekly "Book Night" in front of the fireplace. The 9 year-old did most of the actual reading.)
That is an absolutely wonderful thing to do.
