..Educated in the Sixties ... I enjoyed a Philosophy professor who was anything but agenda driven ... I reveled in the difference...

Thank God there are just so many available teaching positions in USA universities. The majority of the indoctrinated will still have to get a real job.

.......and just to bring a little glimpse of the future of higher education, the local JC has started a policy of hiring part time instructors with practical backgrounds to replace those high-priced ivory tower characters.

I'm in the middle of my second semester on that sort of deal.

That first semester was some serious culture shock for a couple of the profs I ran across, but the students all seem to think I'm okay.
