I'm not sure of the tactics on this one. This will be struck down very quickly and I doubt it will make it to the Supreme Court. However, if it does make it as far as the Supreme Court I doubt that they will uphold it.
Overall great poilitical point scorer (for the base) but seemingly bad manuver.
I don't get it.

Under Roe V Wade the court ruled that a women had a right to an abortion, under this law they still do in the event carrying to term will be detrimental to the mothers health, I don't see how this is "Extreme" but merely keeping with the law (wink wink). They cant say there banning all abortion because if a womens life is threatened they still can receive one so what is the leg the left can stand on? this may be common sense talking and I know that contradicts with the courts.
