Women need to make rape so very unpleasant for Muslim males that they will not think of touching us. Concealed carry (or, in some areas, open carry) is the way to visit strongly negative consequences on the putative rapist. Enough of them get shot, they'll learn to back off.

I'm about to sound like an overbearing, head-of-the-household male hear. But if I ever get married, my wife will be required to know how to carry and use firearms, rifles, pistols, and shotguns. And that isn't a request on my part, it's a requirement.

I guess that constitutes some degree of selfishness on my part. However, my position remains the same. If I love someone so much that I chose to share the rest of my life with her, I will not lose her to some slobbering neanderthal mooselimb.

If you marry the right girl you won't have to make it a requirement. She'll already know how to shoot and have her own guns.

When I met her (aeons ago in the prehistoric cave days) my lovely bride was afraid of weapons. She had her reasons, but they were irrational. She rather quickly abandoned her fear.

Just recently, I bought her a nice new Glock. Why? Because I love her, and she's such a sweetie, and if fit her hands just right ... and if she runs into trouble and I'm not around, she'll have no trouble ventillating the perp.
