I thought that private schools were the answer to all our educational problems?!

Glaringly not, it appears.

You draw the wrong conclusion from an example of one. Google the press reports on the abuse of students by teachers. The bulk of them, far more than the proportion of students in such schools, are in PUBLIC schools.

And never does the press report whether the teacher in question is a member of his state "Edukashun" Association, the union that support "diverse lifestyles" as a matter of public policy. Read the website of the NEA and weep.

Private schools may have victims of sexual predators as students just like gummint skewels. No human institution is perfect.

At least the private school students tend to be literate and numerate, whether victimized or not. Many know and understand history, science, languages and what not unlike their gummint skewel contemporaries.

We can execute the predator kiddie rapers with a few well-aimed changes in our public laws but we will find the task of educating the gummint skeweled unfortunates a task beyond human capacity. God may or may not intervene on their behalf. Fortunately, we will have homeschooled and privately schooled students to govern the victims of gummint skeweled non-feasance, malfeasance and misfeasance.
