Candidate says incumbent Republican not advocating biblical values enough

A Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate in Ohio wants to make homosexual behavior a capital crime punishable by the death penalty.
Merrill Keiser Jr. is a trucker with no political experience, but he hopes to beat fellow Democrat Rep. Sherrod Brown in the May primary. The winner will try to unseat Republican incumbent Sen. Mike DeWine, assuming he wins the GOP primary.
"Just like we have laws against murder, we have laws against stealing, we have laws against taking drugs – we should have laws against immoral conduct," Keiser told WTOL-TV in Toledo.
Keiser, 61, says he's running as a Democrat because that's how he was registered the last time he voted.
The trucker, who hails from Fremont, Ohio, says there needs to be more adherence to biblical values in government, business and education – something he claims DeWine is not promoting.
"I believe that the United States has been moved in a Godless direction by the courts," he told the Sandusky Register. "To get good men on the court, we need good senators."
Some of Keiser's other positions include defense of the Second Amendment, securing U.S. borders, lower taxes to stimulate the economy, support of Israel and prayer in public schools.
Keiser told the Register the United States should make conversion to Christianity part of the war on terror to teach Muslims the error of their choice in religion.
The candidate also decries evolution, saying it is contrary to the Declaration of Independence.
The question still stands.

Why do you address me as, "your majesty," for God may well warrant such a title, but not I..you ask me if we should kill other sexual sinners - sin isn't mutually exlusive and, "Struggle to enter the Kingdom through the narrow door. You forget Romans 13:1-5, and anti-American murderers should be put to death for the crime of murder - green fundamentalists (earth worship and such) shouldn't excuse the murder of people who employ millions and run necessary industry. This reeks of moral relativism - you fail to distinguish, therefore you are led to an erroneous and illogical conclusion.
We agree, while you make a stink about mass murder, you are perfectly willing to tolerate a holocaust that has claimed upwards of 45 million victims - what hypocrisy - and then you call me an extremists because I don't pity those running the death camps? Ha!

God instructed the Israelites to do similar tough love on those in the 'promised land', not even sparing the livestock ("man and beast").
The God says in the future, the world will undergo the Tribulation (because of sin), destroy the world by fire, etc.

Neither the Founding Fathers, nor Jesus himself, ever gave the green light for people to kill sinners. America had never executed homosexuals, and you know that.

Although -- when the Dems not only advocate killing 15 million young Americans every year, but actually proudly include it in their party plank -- no one bats an eye.

Of course the latter things are lunacy, but that doesn't mean the former isn't. The Apostle Paul said Christian gentiles are bound by the moral restrictions of the Mosaic law, but not the ritual ones and, presumably, the specific punishments. We also have a duty to love one another, and therefore to love the sinner and hate the sin. I don't think in this day and age, when there is not a consensus on the immorality of homosexual activity and the harm from such activity is mainly to the people engaging in it, that the death penalty would be wise or appropriate.

And what about the people he killed at the Atlanta Olypmics? What were their sins?
