Clinton vs. Clinton on Dubai Deal
EIB ^ | March 6, 2006 | Rush Limbaugh

Posted on 03/07/2006 1:34:17 PM PST by Cinnamon

RUSH: At the risk of bringing this thing back up because I don't want it to start dominating the show again, I gotta talk a little bit about the port deal, because this business with Bill and Hillary is just too much. Hillary does not know that Bill is lobbying for the port deal. Bill goes to Dubai, he takes big bucks, total of 600 grand in the last four years to make speeches over there. He is advising the United Arab Emirates on how to get this deal done here. It was Clinton who told them, you go in and you propose a 45-day examination delay here so people can examine this and make sure that you're no threat to security. He's been advising these people how to do it. All the while Hillary has been out there denouncing the deal, saying it's horrible, it's typical Bush, it's secret, he doesn't know what's going on, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

She knew that she and Bill had the same taste in women when they dated the same girl in college.

Bill Clinton must register as an Agent of Foreign Prinicpal.
Federal statute requires that anyone -- even a former President -- doing political or public affairs work on behalf of a foreign country, agency or official must register with the Department, and essentially update his status every six months. It was not clear the Clinton had done so.

Gee. I didn't realize it was the Clinton Administration that approved the sale to DPW.

That is the question, but unfortunately congressional Republicans are idiots and can't seem to contain themselves long enough to avoid making inane pronouncements on subjects they know nothing about. Thus the media is free to report about the split between the President and Republicans on the Hill vice the split between Willy and HRC.

According to the Spectator - "This is not Chertoff's fault. If blame should be placed, say White House and other Administration insiders, it should be laid at the feet of former DHS Secretary Tom Ridge, who at no point in the run-up to the creation of the agency said "No" to the way the department was pulled together from various other Cabinet level departments."

How many times have I stated here that Tom "water-me-twice-a-week" couldn't coach a 2nd grade soccer team. Another poor decision by GW. Include it with Mineta, Meirs, Tenet, yuck'in it up with Bubba, Hastert, Frist. Now you see why this corrupt "Two-Party Cartel" just lip services the true conservatives.

I think Rush is missing an obvious alternative - that the Clintons are playing good cop / bad cop with Dubai. I think Rush earlier mentioned that they (DPW) didn't hire one of his flunkies (Jordan?) he had recommended. Hence, until they play ball, the Hildabeast will continue to rake them over the coals.
