I'm in Kerr County. I did encourage folks in the neighboring counties who are in District 73 to vote for Macias...And I chastised some today who didn't vote, and thought Macias would beat Casteel handily..they were a bit sheepish when they heard how close it was.
sheesh ... to be honest I never thought he'd beat her! Maybe it's because I'm in Comal County her "home" county.. laugh...
I'm still amazed at the effort on both sides - during early voting I was getting phone calls from both camps every day!
Maybe where you're at - but his candidate won here... and I'm glad.

Nathan Macias 3,525 44.41% 10,176 50.11%

Since the opposite of what they reported happened (Casteel ousted), I look forward to the papers reporting this victory for school choice and school vouchers loud and clear.
... just as I look forward to winning the powerball lottery, and with as much probability to see it happen.
