Was it just me or was it a tad difficult to find the polling site today. When I finally went on the net and got the location there were signs all over the schools campus that read ''DEMOCRATS VOTE HERE''. I complained to the precinct manager and he said it was legal to give directions. I wanted to give him a direction, but didn't think crawling under his rock would make me a better person

I vote about 2 PM and I was voter # 66 in my area. They had a new machine that tabulates paper marked tabs.

OK, I guess I'm not very good posting the results without screwing up the margins. In any event, Cuellar is at 34.20% and Ciro is at 55.19% with two precincts in: Cuellar got over 80% in a precinct in lightly populated (and very conservative) McMullen County, and Ciro got 60% in a precinct in Guadalupe County (which Ciro used to represent and is near his base in San Antonio).

It was pretty heavy in my precinct for a primary but we're having a lot of hot local races. I think we had around 850 or so by the time I voted around 1:00.

Do you use the pencil marked ballots?
And have the new reader?

I voted this evening in College Station. It's been a long time since I ever voted in a primary - much less a republican primary.

Lots of single name contests, unfortunately. But I did vote for Perry among others. Also, voted for Tucker Anderson. Originally, I was gonna vote for Van Taylor, but switched.

If I coulda, I woulda voted for DeLay - but it was just way too far to drive to vote in his district.....

Glad you voted for Anderson.

Van Taylor played gutter politics from day one and comes off just as slimy as people like Kerry or Paul Hackett.

Hopefully those props will become bills next legislative session and perhaps even the upcoming special session.

Yeah...that's what really made me change my mind. Van Taylor was just going way too far overboard in his campaigning. Last night, Taylor even went so far as to say that Anderson lives with his mom..... That really did it for me. We dont need that kinda guy.

Yeah, he's been saying that for a while. He is twisting the fact that the Anderson family ranch is still in Tucker's parents' name which is very common with family owned ranches/farms.

If Taylor win and he probably will, Chet Edwards is going to eat him alive.
