While Blago is in a weak position, it is not even close to where Carol Mostly-Fraud was in 1998.

Blago for all his faults, hasn't been scurrying off to Africa to dine with dictators.

I don't like Topinka, but I'll vote for her if she is the nominee, biting my tongue.

Here is my take on the current candidates.. Gidwitz I can handle.. Don't support him, but will vote for him in the general election.. Brady yes.. Obie Yes.. Martin is not going to win but I won't vote for him.. Topinka wins, leaving Illinois is looking a lot better.. I'm with RWR8189 I have to vote for her biting my tongue.. I don't think that Illinois can handle another 4 years of Blago..

The problem is that if JBT became governor, it would strengthen the combine's hold on the IL Republican Party.
