Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
Not too long ago, I spoke to a naval recruiter about what they were looking for in terms of naval intelligence positions. She stated that they really needed folks who could read and speak Mandarin. Food for thought.

Just in case any of you parents out there are wondering what your teenage kid is doing in his room with that Ann Coulter book...

Those of us on the younger cusp of Generation X (low 30s) and younger realize that we never got to play with 25% of the kids we should have been able to play with because our would be childhood playmates were vacuumed out before they were even born.
Truly tragic.

Maybe I've had too much to drink tonight, but what does speaking Mandarin have anything to do with abortion?

I'm gonna grab a beer while I wait for articulation.

Proof positive you've not had enough: you can still spell "articulate." When you can spell it "atriculaterion," maybe you can explain the Mandarin bit.

This just can't be....the vast majority of Americans are pro-choice! At least that's the crap fed to us by the MSM and Naral and NOW. I saw a female judge on Neil Cavuto's show who claimed that 65 to 70% of women were pro-choice. Never gave anything to back it up, just threw it out as accepted fact. Yesterday, Mort Kondracke said that most Americans were appalled that South Dakota only had one abortion clinic. Fortunately, Fred Barnes called him on it.
The pro-death crowd loves to make up statistics to make their position appear more popular. This Rasmussen poll is probably a lot closer to the truth.

That's what I thought. Good to know I'm not the only one that has done that. ;)

Very true. It's the under-thirty Americans who have had their generation decimated by abortion, and who could well have been murdered themselves. Some of them realize it.
