I am in complete agreement with the need for corporal punishment. Publicly. Public pain and public shame. Although in the case of child molesters, they should be publicly beaten and THEN executed.
Kyla, have you heard whether the children were boys or girls? Often when it's boys the MSM won't mention it. Let me know and then I'll know who to ping for this.
Beyond disgusting and hateful. And keep in mind there are many professionals - professors, psychologists and the like - who are promoting the idea that child/adult sex isn't actually harmful and in many cases is beneficial for the child.
"If only respiratory therapists were allowed to marry ..."
ROFLMAO! Thanks. This thread needed a little levity. ;)
As for the perp...hang him. Town Square. Noon. Tomorrow.
"Even better is what happened to Jeffrey Dahmer."
As a Wisconsin Taxpayer, I CHEERED on the day Dahmer took a dirt nap. He was one sick, sick freak. And as an added bonus, the criminal that killed him, was also killed in prison (or else he died of some disease) shortly thereafter.
It was a "two-fer!"
A horrible one. I'm pinging you Harry since it doesn't say boys or girls, and in our experience you know what that usually means. If I hear more I'll ping you.
This POS doesn't deserve a fair trial. they should take him straight out into the street and squash him like a bug.
So far today there hasn't been any "new" news about this. I'm hoping to hear more in the evening news tonight.
No mention as to gender of the victims.
I'll keep watch for more info and post as it becomes available.
Therapist allegedly shot porn at hospital for a decade

SNIP:
3:30 p.m. March 10, 2006
SAN DIEGO A Children's Hospital respiratory therapist accused of child molestation and possessing and distributing child pornography pleaded not guilty Friday at a court hearing in which a prosecutor said he admitted committing the crimes.
Wayne Albert Bleyle said nothing during the arraignment at which Judge David Szumowski set bail at $5 million. Bleyle has been held in county jail since his arrest Wednesday.
Bleyle, 54, has been charged with 24 counts of child pornography and two counts of child molestation. Prosecutor Laura Gunn said he faces a prison sentence of up to 62 years to life if convicted of those charges.
Gunn said after the hearing that the investigation of Bleyle is continuing and additional charges could be filed. She also said other people who viewed the pornography could be charged and that there were other victims.
It's certainly possible down the line that the Internet investigation could lead to more arrests, she said.
She told the judge that in a telephone conversation with investigators Bleyle admitted committing the crimes and said he had been molesting children for a long time.
When asked by investigators how many children he molested, Bleyle said how many snowflakes are there out there? Gunn said in court.
She told the judge Bleyle has been taking pornographic pictures of the children during the entire 10 years he has worked in the Children's Convalescent Hospital, which is operated by Children's Hospital.
She said investigators found tens of thousands of very graphic pornographic pictures and videos of children on computers they seized at his Santee home. Gunn said some of the pictures are of him molesting children.
The pictures and videos included children in full sexual intercourse with adult men.
She said the children that were molested at the convalescent hospital were brain-damaged. Many of them could not speak or move on their own, she said.
Authorities say the current charges involve nine children who are either patients or former patients who were under his care.

KFMB news says that there could be hundreds of children who have been victimized by this sorry excuse for a human!
How he could have continued to do this over the years, while in a hospital type environment, without anyone noticing, is just beyond belief.
Maybe we could gather all these scum slimeballs together somewhere so if al qaeda wants to blow something up they can have these to play with.
(Denny Crane: "I Don't Want To Socialize With A Pinko Liberal Democrat Commie. Say What You Like About Republicans. We Stick To Our Convictions. Even When We Know We're Dead Wrong.")
I just heard on the KFMB news that there were male and female victims. He wasn't choosey as long as they could not move nor talk.
pure slime
How extremely terrible. The scum deserves execution tomorrow at the latest. I really hope that some fellow prisoner takes on the task since the state of CA is too insane to do it.
Sick beyond belief.
Truly horrible. A perfect example of why child porn should be illegal and punishable by death.
DISCUSSION ABOUT:
"Therapist at Children's Hospital,San Diego, accused of child molestation, porn"
This is absolutely sickening!

Prosecutor calls it 'worst case of child molestation imaginable'
March 11, 2006
A respiratory therapist at a Children's Hospital convalescent center admitted to countless molestations of some of the facility's most helpless patients and may have molested many other children, a prosecutor told a judge yesterday.
The prosecutor also said the investigation of Wayne Albert Bleyle, 54, is continuing in a case the District Attorney's Office said appears to be unprecedented in its scope and depravity.
This is the worst case of child molestation imaginable, prosecutor Laura Gunn said in San Diego Superior Court. I don't know if we've ever seen a case like it before where the victims were so vulnerable.
Bleyle pleaded not guilty at the hearing to multiple charges of child molestation and possessing and distributing child pornography, some of which prosecutors said shows him having sex with children.
Gunn told the judge that when Bleyle was asked by investigators how many children he molested, Bleyle replied: How many snowflakes are there out there?
Bleyle admitted molesting children and trading child pornography when investigators contacted him earlier this month by cell phone in upstate New York where he was visiting his father, Gunn told the judge.
She would not provide details of the telephone call or whether Bleyle was aware that he was talking to investigators.
Tens of thousands and possibly over 100,000 images of child pornography, stills and video were found on computers that investigators seized at Bleyle's Santee home, Gunn said.
The pictures and videos included children in full sexual intercourse with adult men, she said.
Kill the SOB. Somebody needs to step up to the plate and off the deleted deleted.
The death penalty is way underused.

Here is an update on the child molestation at Children's Hospital in San Diego. It is a long article but well worth reading.

SNIP:
Questions pile up in alleged abuse at Children's Hospital
As Children's Hospital officials explain to more than 200 families how a longtime employee allegedly abused disabled patients and used a cell phone camera to photograph them, many are asking why the hospital couldn't have prevented the mistreatment.
Why didn't it install video cameras in patients' rooms, or at least along the corridors?
Why didn't someone notice the suspect's behavior and report it? Why didn't background checks disclose the problem?
Why didn't the hospital have security consultants scrutinize the entire facility?
Milton Silverman, an attorney specializing in child-abuse cases, said it's ironic that Children's Hospital suffered this scandal despite its long-touted expertise in child abuse. The hospital's Chadwick Center for Children and Families, which prides itself as a national authority on detecting and dealing with abused children and the perpetrators, is a few hundred feet from the convalescent hospital where the abuses by respiratory therapist Wayne Albert Bleyle allegedly took place.
Here they are, this great protector of kids, and they can't protect their own, Silverman said. That they would come up with any kind of excuse as to why this happened is to me absurd and unconscionable. . . . If it was your kid there, you'd figure out a way to do it.
Authorities arrested Bleyle, a 26-year employee of the hospital, March 8. During Bleyle's arraignment, the prosecutor reported Bleyle saying the number of his abusive acts involving children equaled the number of snowflakes.
In response to Bleyle's alleged crimes, Children's Hospital officials have established the following rules:
Neither visitors nor hospital employees can use cell phones or cameras in patient-care areas, except in designated zones where they can be observed.
Supervisors' checks on caregivers administering treatment previously performed on a scheduled basis will now be frequent, random and unannounced.
Curtains around patients' beds can no longer be closed unless there is an invasive procedure under way.
In coming weeks, the hospital will determine which medical procedures will require the presence of two caregivers rather than one.
Employees are being urged to promptly report concerns about colleagues' suspicious behavior.
The facility's leaders also are trying to allay families' fears that Bleyle may have abused their children. At a family's request, the hospital will conduct forensic exams on the children or pay for a different center to do the exams independently, Children's Hospital spokesman Tom Hanscom said.
The hospital also will offer free counseling through the Chadwick Center or pay for sessions elsewhere.
As of yesterday afternoon, the hospital's officials had contacted 107 of the more than 200 families possibly involved with the case. Several people had requested the exams, said Pam Dixon, the convalescent hospital's director of long-term care. The hospital has held two meetings with some of the families even flying in some from out of state to discuss the situation.
People are feeling shocked, dazed and devastated, and some have expressed anger, Dixon said. They want to know: 'Was there a clue? Did we miss something?'
But Bleyle was extremely good at hiding what he was doing, Dixon said. He had no criminal record and was fully licensed to work as a respiratory therapist, she noted.
